Should you start a broad ecommerce store or a micro-niche high-ticket dropshipping store?
In this video, I break down why I recommend starting with a highly focused product category instead of trying to sell everything under the sun. After building, scaling, and selling high-ticket dropshipping stores for over 15 years, I've found that micro-niche stores are generally easier to launch, easier to operate, easier to get suppliers for, and easier to scale profitably.

High-ticket ecommerce is really high-ticket sales online. That means understanding your products, suppliers, customers, pricing, applications, fulfillment processes, and sales process matters.
Going broad too early can create unnecessary complexity. Every new supplier can mean different ordering processes, inventory updates, pricing changes, customer questions, shipping requirements, and product knowledge you need to manage.
A micro-niche store lets you become a specialist in one product category, build stronger relationships with suppliers, understand your target customer, create better content, optimize your advertising, and develop a much stronger competitive advantage.
The goal isn't to have the biggest catalog possible. The goal is to find a high-ticket category with proven demand, good suppliers, healthy margins, existing competitors, and a market you can understand deeply.
